Q*Bert Art Package
I recently received a set of Q*Bert art from Arcade Renovations and my first reaction was "WOW!" The colors are bright and accurate. The detail is extremely sharp. Very professional in every way.
The set I received was 2 sides of Side Art, 1 Control Panel overlay and 1 Front Panel art. Everything you need to restore your Q*bert.
The only problem I have so far is the method in which they ship the art. The art is sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. The problem is that the cardboard is not rigid enough to withstand bending. Then end result is that you run the risk of getting art that has a crease in it. In my case, one of the corners was slightly bent.
As a result of this art Q*Bert has shot up on my list of priorities to get done. I almost hate having to do this since the Art is so beautiful!
If you have a Q*Bert and would like to bring your Art back to its original luster, then I highly recommend that you buy a set and use it!
What I would like to see added next to their list of projects is Q*Bert Front Glass and possibly Marquee. I know that a BIG problem with Q*Bert is that the Front Glass flakes A LOT. I have two glasses and they both suffer the same problem.
As soon as I dig my Q*Bert out of the Garage, I'll work on replacing the CPO and show the before and after pictures. May not get to that till '01, but hopefully sooner.
